This attractive parkland course has matured beautifully. The signature hole, ‘Orpinsmill’, is a demanding par 4 third hole. The golfer is faced with an intimidating tee shot with out of bounds on the left and a lake on the right, leading to a green well protected by trees on one side and the River Islekelly on the other. The tree-lined fairways, astute placing of sand traps and strategic use of natural water hazards combine to create a stiff golfing challenge.
