This is a public park in part of the grounds of a late 18th-century house, which is now gone. The park features fine mature trees in lawns, plus rhododendron and laurel walks.
Ballymenoch Park has pedestrian entrances on Bangor Road and Croft Park, off Croft Road. Nearly twenty acres of grassy areas and woodland run alongside the main Bangor Road. In spring there are hosts of daffodils to cheer passing drivers and a profusion of colour in the Autumn. There are also well maintained toilets and a childrens playground.
