A 17th-century bawn on the site of an earlier castle on a bluff above the River Blackwater. The Manor House of about 1887 survives with maintained planted terraces and glasshouses. Features include mature trees and extensive new plantings, a hermitage, a pinetum, walled gardens with glasshouses and three gate lodges. Present house built about 1887 nearby, now a Servite Priory.
