The Strule River is a medium sized
river (5-20m) and is known as one of
the best Salmon fishing rivers in the
area. Although the salmon are
plentiful, sea trout and brown trout
are found in these waters. There can
be a few early salmon but it is
generally from mid June to the end of
the season that the salmon fishing is
best. Fly fishing, spinning and
worming are allowed.
