Foyle International Golf Centre boasts a
championship standard par 71 course, set
on the outskirts of the historic Walled City of
Derry, overlooking the famous Donegal hills.
It is a fine test of golf, with water coming into
play on the third, tenth and eleventh holes. The sixth green overlooks the Amelia Earhart
Centre, which commemorates the first lady to
fly the Atlantic solo. Her plane landed here on
21 May 1932.
