Species: Brown and Rainbow trout.Season: 1 March–31 October Methods: Fly fishing only, except that disabled permit holders may also spin and worm fish. Limits: 4 trout per rod per day. Minimum takeable size 25.4 cm. Other Restrictions: - Licence: DCAL Game Fishing Rod Licence. Permit: DCAL Game Fishing Permit . Boats: Fishing from boats is not permitted. Disabled Access: There is a level tarmac road from the car park to the dam. There is a grass path along the dam wall but ease of fishing will depend on water levels. Anglers with disabled permits can use all legal methods but otherwise the dam is fly only fishing. This is a very popular water with good catches regularly taken. It is in a forest area with good fly hatches. Parking is some distance from the Reservoir. Angler must use the official entrances and on no account.tresspass on adjoining lands or park their cars in such a way as to obstruct roadways or gate entrances.
